Joint Admission Medical Program is a unique partnership between Texas students, undergraduate institutions, and medical schools that makes medical school affordable for Texans.
 
MARC* U STAR Program
The two main goals of the MARC USP are the training of qualified pre-doctoral underrepresented minority students in biomedical sciences and the entrance of these students into strong biomedical doctoral programs across the country.
 
Scholars Academy
This unique program involves the total immersion of students into science utilizing Faculty Mentors, Peer Mentors, Tutors, Undergraduate Research, Special Group Activities, and Public Service.
 
UBM
Undergraduates in Biological and Mathematical Sciences program seeks to enhance undergraduate education and training at the intersection of the biological and mathematical sciences.

Student Research Conference

Description: Annual presentation of research by students in Natural Sciences, Computer & Mathematical Sciences, Engineering Technology, and Social Sciences...all day conference with guest speakers...over 80 posters and 6-8 oral presentations by students...attended by students, faculty, visitors from universities and corporations, regionally and nationally.

Graduate School Internship Fair

Description: The Graduate School and Internship Fair (GSIF) is an annual event in the Scholars Academy to provide UHD students opportunities to engage in research at research institutions across the Houston area, Texas, and the United States. It is also a forum to showcase some of the SURP activities at UHD to visiting recruiters.
