What is global warming? And give some of the ways it has affected are environment?
Global warming is the climate changing in the environment by temperatures rising and not cooling down. The United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report that the past decade has been the warmest in the last century. Global warming is hurting are environment in many different ways. For example; carbon dioxide are burned into are environment from chemical companies that are constantly burning fuels to run the plants. We also use these fuels everyday for our personal use by driving to work. The sea level has also risen due to the glaciers melting. These glaciers melting are causing animal extinction. Are communities along the coast line have felt the effects by having more tropic storms and hurricanes in the summer. Scientist believes we have more storms because of global warming. Now that we know the facts communities should be forming ways to stop the global warming crisis. Sylvia Nuncio |

Global warming is an increase in the average temperature of Earth's surface. Some of the effects of global warming included weather damage: hurricanes, storms. Also, damages to different types of live species like in the Antarctica polar bears are struggling to survive. Also, the sea level is rising which can cause damages to coast line states and islands.

Global warming is the average increase of the Earths surface air temperature. There is a large misconception that global warming means hotter temperature all around. In fact, global warming can cause some areas to be unseasonably cool; while others are unseasonably warm. Global warming has increased the greenhouse effect, by inducing more polluntants into the air. Global warming is also the cause of extreme weather. There will be an increase in drought, hurricanes and high sea level. Another major factor are things such as; refiners, which burn and emit alot of oil and gases into the earth's atmosphere. Namely, the carbon dioxide that is emitted into the atmosphere. We can, however, limit of carbon footprint by taking a proactive stance on global warming. Simple things like; changing our light bulbs, keep our vehicles well maintained, use the dishwasher only when it's full, using recycled paper, and adjusting your thermostat are just a few ways to limit your carbon footprint.

I dont have the book-definition of global warming.. but I do understand that its harmful to us and that these crazy weather things (tsunami!) that have been happening in recent years around the world may be an effect of global warming.. i do get creeped out thinking that the world may come to an end
