      Informative lectures and discussions on the graduate school admissions process, current research and career opportunities in STEM fields.

    • GRE Preparation Course:


      Weekly Graduate records examination preparation course and materials provided free of charge; directed at underrepresented minority students.

    • Visits to Graduate Programs & Major Research Centers:

      Six students on a very recent visit to NYC.Their 5-day trip ended at this meaningful site.

    In December of 2004, UHD Scholars Academy was awarded the TEXAS HIGHER EDUCATION STAR AWARD, established by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to recognize exemplary contributions towars closing the educational gaps that challenge the state.
