Pathways for Certication through UHD Noyce

There are three pathways to certication through the UHD Noyce Program.

  • Freshman and Sophomores can enter the Pre-Noyce Program. Pre-Noyce Scholars must select the BPS with Teaching Certication degree plan and recieve scholarship support in their Junior and Senior years.

  • Students entering the UHD Noyce program as Juniors or Seniors under the BPS degree plan may be able to complete certication requirements in two years.

  • Junior and Senior students in degree plans other than BPS can enter the Noyce Program and complete certication requirements through post-baccalaureate or Master of Arts in Teaching programs. These students would graduate with their NS degrees before completing certication requirements and can use their Noyce Scholarship for any two years of their participation.

  • Post-Baccalaureate students can use thier Noyce Scholarship to complete the MAT/ACP Program.
