My name is Brad Hoge. I'm the director of HUNSTEM (Houston Urban Network for STEM). I teach science education and natural science at the University of Houston - Downtown. I'm interested in all aspects of science education, but energy education is particularly interesting to me since it crosses so many disciplines. My father worked in the Oil business, and so did my wife. I've also worked for the Ocean Drilling Program, and I've lived in Houston for nearly twenty years. I want Houston to remain the energy capital of the world, and I want to see this identity grow to become an image of growth and innovation as well as an economic and technology center. Energy can be our gateway to the future!
